About Us
Big chains have teams of analysts making sure their menus make money. Independent restaurants don't. We built ProfitLens to change that. We speak the language of finance fluently, but we've chosen to translate it into plain English, so that every recommendation is clear and actionable, no finance degree required.
Why We Built This
Most restaurant owners know their food is great - but don't have time to dig into the numbers. ProfitLens was built to do that work for you. One Excel file in, one actionable report out.
Meet the Founders
Finance, retail, and consulting executive who began her career as Financial Director of a multi-brand perfumery group, then moved through commercial leadership into multi-country retail. Sophie has also co-founded and run her own fast-casual cafe, which taught her firsthand what it feels like to watch a busy week still close out short. Most recently General Manager of a fashion retail group with full P&L responsibility, and earlier headed merchandising, financial planning, and operations across 90+ stores in five countries. Beyond her corporate roles, she has spent close to a decade advising businesses on strategy and finance, including USAID-funded hospitality programs developed with the UN World Tourism Organization and Les Roches. She holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, United Kingdom. At ProfitLens, she leads product development, originating the concept, shaping the analytical framework, and building the software behind every report.
Finance executive with 25+ years across accounting, corporate finance, and taxation, including 18+ years as CFO or Finance Director for retail chains, shopping malls, consumer electronics, and other large consumer businesses with 500+ employees and $100M+ in revenues and assets. Built and led finance functions through periods of growth, restructuring, and cross-border expansion, presenting to boards and shareholders on strategy, capital, and risk. Former Manager at EY (Tax & Legal) and Senior Tax Associate at Arthur Andersen. MSc in Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics, United Kingdom, and Chevening Scholar (UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office). Currently Fractional CFO to a London-headquartered investment group. Built ProfitLens because the menu math that saves independent restaurants is the same math Fortune-sized retailers pay six figures for, and there was no reason it couldn't be priced for independent operators instead of enterprise buyers.
Finance and investment professional with more than 20 years of experience across leasing, banking, investment consulting, retail, and financial analysis, including hospitality investment projects, FMCG sector research, and senior financial management roles in operating companies. Structured debt financing packages for hospitality projects, supporting funding applications to the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (formerly OPIC) and commercial lenders. Most recently spent four years as Project Financial Officer for a Norway-based foundation, managing programs funded by the EU, UK FCDO, and the Norwegian and Finnish Ministries of Foreign Affairs. Executive MBA from IEDC Bled School of Management, Slovenia. At ProfitLens, she leads business development and personally reviews every report, bringing the same financial discipline used in institutional investment analysis to your restaurant's numbers.
